Cone Crusher

General Makina cone crushers are very successful in crushing materials and aggregates that are difficult to break and require high costs in mines, waterways, or crushing lines.
The cone crusher should be preferred for crushing basalt, granite, river stone, and various hard and corrosive minerals and ores.
For example, rotary impact crushers, which are commonly used in stone crushing and screening plants, crush minerals, and abrasive hard materials, but especially in abrasive materials, the maintenance and spare parts, i.e. the operating costs of rotary crushers are very high due to their high rotation speed. In this case, the cone crusher comes into play.
The cone crusher crushes the materials by compressing them with a conical shaft that rotates vertically eccentrically in a conical shield casing. The materials are crushed vertically several times until they can pass through the minimum mouth opening, move downward evenly by natural gravity, and the crushing process is completed.
Thanks to this operating system, cone crushers are preferred, whose maintenance and operation costs remain at a reasonable level.

Main advantages:
  • It is best at crushing hard and abrasive stones.
  • Since the crushing principle is pressure, the dust rate is low.
  • It has a wide range of uses, from very hard to soft.
  • Since it crushes stones by pressure, wear is less, and spare parts costs are low.
  • It can be used in all stages of stone-crushing plants, showing high performance, especially in secondary and tertiary stages.
  • The crushing system is protected by a hydraulic cylinder against sudden jams.
  • It has hydraulic adjustment mechanics.
